Type 1 hope registration terms & conditions
I confirm that I am over the age of eighteen (18) years, or that I am submitting this consent on behalf of a minor whose parent or guardian I am. By submitting my information, I also give permission for the free use by JDRF Australia (A.C.N 002 286 553) of my (or, if applicable, my child’s) name and image in any broadcast, or any other account on social media, the JDRF Australia website or any type of paid or organic media at the discretion of JDRF Australia.
JDRF Australia will use your (or, if applicable your child’s) personal information for the purposes of the type 1 hope campaign and other marketing, advocacy and fundraising activities (including communicating with you/ your child and sending you/your child information about the campaign and other JDRF Australia campaigns through various methods including email, SMS, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other social media platforms) and re-market to you after the campaign, for other purposes as the law permits. You/ your child can unsubscribe or modify your preferences for how and when you are contacted at any time via the respective platform or by contacting JDRF Australia at communications@jdrf.org.au
Terms of image use
By submitting your (or your child’s) image and details on our website (“Content”), you’re consenting to JDRF Australia reposting and sharing that Content via different channels including but not limited to social media, electronic communications, website(s) and other sales and marketing channels and in relevant content. You’re providing JDRF Australia with non-exclusive, royalty-free, rights to use the Content for such period(s) of time as JDRF Australia determines.
We may display advertisements in connection with the Content or on pages where the Content may be viewed by you or others. We may use the Content to advertise and promote JDRF Australia or related events, including but not limited to the type 1 hope campaign and other events in connection with our advocacy, research and fundraising activities to support the type 1 diabetes community.
By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that:
– You own all rights to the Content, and you have the right to give JDRF Australia the rights described above.
– Your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other legal rights of any third party.
– You understand JDRF Australia does not guarantee that it will use the Content and reserves the right to refuse to accept or transmit the Content, or to remove the Content from our sites for any reason.
