Let's talk T1D, Christmas & end of year parties for kids
Join our free discussion on Christmas, end of year parties and your child's life with type 1 diabetes.
Whether it’s the first year you’ve faced Christmas and end-of-year celebrations after your child’s diagnosis, or you’re just looking for tips to help get through the December craziness with type 1 thrown into the mix, our ‘Let’s Talk’ chat will answer your questions and give you lots of practical advice.
Covering practical information, and the emotional and social aspects of life with T1D in “the silly season”, this free session for parents and carers will give you guidance and support.
Melanie Cullen, a psychologist and JDRF’s mental health lead, will be leading the chat, along with a paediatric diabetes educator.
You’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions; you can email them in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org, or ask them live in the chat.
When: Thursday, November 2nd, 8pm AEDT (See what time that is in your state or territory)
