Impacting the lives of people living with type 1 diabetes through research partnerships and collaboration 

JDRF Australia is pleased to announce that the JDRF Type 1 Diabetes Clinical Research Network (T1DCRN) Symposium will bring together a multidisciplinary network of academic and non-academic professionals, clinicians, implementers, the JDRF Board,  JDRF Research Committee, government and corporate funders, community members and other organisations working in the type 1 diabetes space.

When: Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th July 2023
Where: Swissotel, Sydney NSW

The Symposium will showcase the lifechanging research that CRN-funding has made possible over the past decade, as well as the funding’s impact on the T1D research environment and T1D research ecosystem as a whole. It also presents an opportunity to look into the future gaps and needs in T1D research, and the opportunities the next decade brings to address them.

The meeting’s objectives are:

• A DECADE of IMPACT:  to share the impact of research on people living with T1D and celebrate the achievements of the CRN over the past decade
• DIRECTIONS for the FUTURE: to identify gaps and priority areas and share new initiatives, strategies, and challenges in achieving the CRN’s goals for faster research translation
• COLLABORATION: to provide a platform for discussions about the vision and future of the CRN as ongoing and new programs mature and progress.
