Our vision
The T1DCRN was initiated with the goal of positively impacting the lives of people with T1D through the support and translation of research.
We achieve this vision by funding the most promising and cutting-edge research projects from learning, to lab, to life-changing.
Alongside this, our focus is on forging global partnerships and bringing together the brightest minds from multiple scientific fields. Our mentoring and career development programs continue to foster the next generation of T1D research leaders.
The T1DCRN is supported by JDRF Australia, the recipient of the Australian Government Department of Health funding through the Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Drive Research Initiative, part of the Medical Research Future Fund.
