Lyla’s Legends

Lyla turned 11 on 4 June & instead of presents she wants any of her friends, family & anyone to give to find a cure. “I hate having T1D it makes me feel different, it upsets my Mum, Dad & friends. I get scared to eat or have sleep overs just in case I mess up my levels which can make me feel tired or I don’t know what is going on. I have seizures & go unconscious that is really scary cos I wake up in hospital. I love gymnastics, my cat Pippy & Harper and more than anything in this world I want a cure for everyone with T1D, please help! Thank you, love Lyla 💉❌💙”.

About JDRF’s Giving Day

JDRF’s Giving Day gives you the chance to support world class research into improving lives and curing type 1 diabetes. It is also 1 of the only times in the year that your gift has double the impact. Generous supporters such as businesses, philanthropists and charitable trusts will match your donation, dollar for dollar. Our Giving Day only happens once a year. On this day, your 1 donation will go much further in supporting our quest to turn type one into type none.

Want to see your gift doubled? Donate now and watch your donation go live on 10th June! Any amount you donate will be matched and doubled by our generous matchers.

It’s been a 100 years since the discovery of insulin, and JDRF believes we shouldn’t have to wait another 100 years for the next major breakthrough. Could you be the 1 to make a difference this Giving Day?
