Let's talk T1D & starting or returning to school
Join our free discussion on returning to or starting school for parents of children living with type 1 diabetes.

Whether your child is starting school for the first time in 2024, they’re changing to a new school, or are returning to the same place and you’d like to get a headstart on their T1D management at school, our next ‘Let’s Talk T1D’ session will help answer all your questions.
Offering lots of practical advice, links to helpful resources, and tips on how to talk about T1D with school staff, this free session for parents and carers will give you the guidance and support you need to confidently manage your child’s T1D at school in 2024.
Melanie Cullen, a psychologist and JDRF’s mental health lead, will be leading the chat, along with paediatric diabetes educator Fiona Scott.
You’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions; you can email them in advance to customerservice@jdrf.org.au, or ask them live in the chat.
