Spin to Cure Diabetes
What can you achieve in eight minutes? Make a coffee? Have a shower? Wait for the bus? Or you could help find the cure for the 140,000 children and adults in Australia with type 1 diabetes!
The Spin to Cure Diabetes is an outdoor stationary bicycle competition. Each five person team, must "spin" for 40 minutes in a stationary "race" to see who can ride the furthest distance.
In 2009, the Spin to Cure Diabetes will take place in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
